Robyn A. Friedman is an award-winning freelance journalist based in South Florida with over two decades of professional experience. Her stories have been published in scores of print and online publications including The Robb Report, the New York Post, Apartment Finance Today, Property Investor, Multihousing Professional, Realtor.com, Florida Realtor, the Costco Connection, Florida Trend, Business Week Online, CBS HealthWatch, CNNfn.com, Bankrate.com and the Chicago Tribune.

Robyn has been the real estate and technology columnist for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel (a Tribune Co. publication) for seven years. She also served as the small business columnist for Florida Trend magazine for three years. All told, Robyn has published over 800 articles in a variety of newspapers, magazines and Web sites.

Prior to embarking on a full-time career as a journalist, Robyn was a real estate and business attorney. Her legal and real estate background are invaluable and give her a unique perspective. It also allows her to hit the ground running on complicated legal or business topics.

In addition to Robyn’s journalistic pursuits, she writes press releases, press kits, business plans, operations manuals, newsletters, Web copy, bylined articles and brochures for a variety of small and large businesses.

She is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Editors, National Federation of Press Women, Society of American Business Editors and Writers, and Florida Freelance Writers Association.

Robyn was the 2005 winner of the Eli Adams Award for housing industry journalism, awarded by the Florida Home Builders Association every year to journalists who fairly and accurately report on the industry.

She is a frequent speaker at real estate industry meetings and has addressed groups including the Boca Real Estate Investment Club and Commercial Real Estate Women. She has also been a frequent guest on “Real Estate Coast to Coast,” an Internet radio show.
